Cleaning Hack: Quick Pet Hair Cleanup!

Today let's tackle a very common issue: Pet Hair. Now, if you own any sort of fur-covered pet, you'll know what it looks like when you skip a vacuum day. No matter how dear our pets are, there's no getting around the fact that owning any animal is a lot of work. So how can that load be lightened? It can be very good to work out some ways to do a quick "fly by" pet removal, for those busier days when a full on vacuuming just isn't in the cards. And we've got you covered.

Let's start with rubber gloves. If you've got an old pair lying around, put them on and get them damp under the faucet. Now, if you run your hands over the upholstered furniture in your home, any clinging pet fur will come right off in the glove. Then simply remove the glove and discard. This tip works the same with an old dryer sheet, instead of a rubber glove.

If you have wood floors, look in to getting an "anti static" spray. Combine with a micro-fibre dust mop and not only will your floor be clean, it'll be easy to clean next time!
